Terms of Use

Effective July 2026.

These terms govern your use of Dock & Door Dispatch (the "Service"). By submitting a request or otherwise using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What the Service is

Dock & Door Dispatch is a request-routing service. We collect the details of your commercial door, loading dock, or gate problem and route that request to independent local contractors who may contact you. That is the entire function of the Service.

What the Service is not

  • We are not a contractor. We do not perform, supervise, or manage repairs, and we do not employ the technicians who may contact you.
  • We do not guarantee a response. We can't promise that any contractor will contact you, or how quickly, and nothing on the site should be read as such a promise.
  • We do not warrant the contractors or their work. We make no representation or warranty about any contractor's licensing, insurance, qualifications, pricing, workmanship, or conduct. You are responsible for verifying insurance and qualifications yourself before authorizing work.

Your relationship with contractors

Any contractor who contacts you is an independent business. Any agreement, estimate, scheduling, payment, warranty, and the work itself are strictly between you and that contractor. We are not a party to it, we don't collect payment for the work, and we aren't responsible for it. We strongly encourage you to obtain a written, itemized estimate and proof of insurance before work begins; our contractor guide explains how.

No warranty of workmanship

Dock & Door Dispatch provides no warranty or guarantee of any repair, installation, part, or other work performed by any contractor. Any such warranty is offered — or not — by the contractor directly, and you should confirm it in writing with them.

Using the site properly

You agree to submit accurate information, to use the Service only for genuine repair requests (not spam, scraping, or automated abuse), and not to attempt to disrupt the site or access areas you're not authorized to. We may decline, remove, or stop routing any request at our discretion.

Safety content is informational

The problem and guide pages describe symptoms, stop-use criteria, and safe temporary measures for general information. They are not repair instructions and are not a substitute for a qualified technician. Do not attempt spring, dock-leveler mechanism, or gate-operator repairs yourself. You rely on general information at your own risk.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dock & Door Dispatch and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your dealings with any contractor or from any repair work, even if advised of the possibility. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnity

You agree to hold Dock & Door Dispatch and its operator harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your dealings with any contractor, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
